Working closely with Italy & Albania HR Director and supporting the Albania entity, the HR Business Partner will be accountable for managing multiple and different people management activities related to the new NPL company’s business unit, to build NPL collection capabilities in Tirana through the hiring and training of resources with appropriate skills and potential and will act as an implementer of HR and facilitator of business processes, within the defined HR guidelines and policies as well as business strategy and goals.

Responsibilities
• understand the short / medium / long term business requirements and determine the most appropriate HR solutions;
• managing the entire hiring process connected with the creation and build-up of the NPL collection unit in Tirana, which will be responsible to collect unsecured receivables for Italian clients;
• support the HR design process for the new NPL unit, responding to the needs of an expanding Group, contributing to the development, implementation, embedding and maintenance of HR processes and policies across the NPL unit;
• guarantee the development and execution of end-to-end recruiting strategy and process, which ensures the hiring of qualified loan managers and support resources, coordinating all related activities and assuring their implementation at Country level, working in partnership with the business from a customer service perspective and with strategic attitude to deliver top-notch candidates;
• manage the external providers (universities, head hunters, etc.), defining the best recruiting channel strategy for the NPL unit, making the sourcing process efficient and effective and supporting the workforce forecasts in partnership with the business, as well as the recruiting budget definition and monitoring;
• provides advice to NPL managers and employees on employment policies and practices and employment legislation;
• support approval of new hires, personnel changes, salary and career recommendations;
• liaise with other Tirana offices regarding on boarding and assignments, ensuring they are managed appropriately and in line with the Albanian legislations and company policies;
• support, advise, and counsel line managers in the areas of, but not limited to: managing objective setting and performance, discipline and grievance, terminations, organizations, training, reward, career paths definition, implementation and communication;
• coach managers to ensure they take the most appropriate course of action;
• support appropriate behaviours to ensure we are doing the right thing in the right way;
• make suggestions for continuous improvement;
• organise engagement, team building and cultural changes initiatives and activities;
• implement HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation, keep abreast of changes to legislation, current and future, and ensure they are understood and applied across the business;
